In the far south of Umbria,on the outside of the picturesque castle village of Montoro, belonging to the medieval town of Narni, is our beautiful, characteristic and sunny villa sittuated. ( built appr. 1895 ) From the terraces and from the house you can enjoy the beautiful and hilly panorama. The house has been completely renovated and meets all the architectural requirements. The spacious, bright ground floor has a fireplace, open kitchen and two storage rooms. The authentic ceiling is vaulted and white plastered. On the first floor there are three large bedrooms, two with a balcony.  There are two large bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs.
The basement, currently used as a workspace / studio and utility room, can be converted into an apartment. The floors of the entire house, terraces and also the basement are equipped with terracotta tiles. The windows (HR double glazing), shutters and doors are made of high-quality coated aluminum and therefore completely maintenance-free.

All connections (gas, electricity, water and sewer) are municipal.
There is a telephone landline, internet (Wifi), combined central heating and hotwater supply.
On the side of the house is a large roofed pergola with a barbecue.
There is a well that fills itself with rainwater.
There is a pizza oven, with wood-storage that still needs restauration.
On the grounds there are approximately 45 olive trees, which means we have our own olive oil every year. There are also various other fruit trees such as: Figs, pomegranate, mandarin, kaki, walnuts and apricots. The grounds are fenced, so there is complete privacy and suitable for keeping hens and sheep. There is a closed parking for up to four cars in front of the house on its own grounds.

There is a small  pvc swimming pool. 
The municipality allows the construction of a swimming pool.

All the airports of Rome and Perugia within one hour. Centre of Rome or Perugia: one hour (85 km) by car and by train.

On google streetview you cannot see our house because it is not at the village road. Only the main entrance is at the quiet village road and was used by horse and carriage a long time ago. Our house is about 70 meters down from the main entrance.
